Braun Wheelchair Ramp
Gateway Module
DGE has developed a
production vehicle bus interface module for the Braun
Corporation, the
world's largest producer of automotive mobility products.
The WRGM allows Braun's aftermarket wheelchair and scooter
ramp systems to access OEM door lock, safety, and vehicle
status information, which permits the implementation of safety
features such as disabling ramp deployment when the vehicle is
in gear and convenience features like controlling sliding
doors.
The WRGM draws upon DGE’s
experience in designing network gateway modules and vehicle
bus interfaces for development vehicle applications as a Tier
1 automotive supplier. The WRGM is a custom module based upon
DGE’s Gateway3 Development Platform
which utilizes the industry standard CAN and LIN networking
protocols.

Peiker Hands Free Module
DGE has
created the Vehicle Bus Interface for a Hands Free Module
(HFM) developed by Peiker Acustic. The HFM uses
Bluetooth protocol to wirelessly connect a mobile phone via
the vehicle audio system. The DGE provided vehicle bus
interface permits the HFM to access the OEM vehicle network.

DGE designed the Vehicle Bus
Interface which allowed this aftermarket GPS unit to access
OEM CAN bus data.
