DGE has designed or helped design
modules for DaimlerChrysler, GM, Siemens, and other major automotive
suppliers. We have experience developing body control modules,
underhood modules, and infotainment/telematics modules. We
can design or support your module design activities with our
experienced hardware and software engineers.
Production Modules
DGE is involved in bringing a
number of electronic designs to production.
From large scale production
modules to smaller-volume niche ECUs, DGE can design the module,
and we will work with you through all the development phases to
bring the product to market. We can provide conformance
testing and validation. We are partnered with a large
electronic manufacturing service (EMS) to produce the product,
or we can work with your preferred EMS or production facilities.
Development Modules
DGE has addressed an industry-wide need by developing
CAN/J1850 Gateway modules to bridge incompatible
vehicle communications networks.
Our design and software has already been adapted to
work in dozens of development vehicle configurations with
hundreds of modules delivered. Our
vehicle bus
interfaces can provide a non-intrusive access point to multiple
vehicle systems over various industry-standard network
protocols.
